Wash first with the green top bottle at minimal degrees and then repeat with the purple top. Nikwax is safe to use with any waterproof items and is recommended to be used once every year depending on how often you use it. The green bottle cleans the garment of oil and salt preparing it for proofing while the purple bottle reproofs any waterproof items including gore-tex products. Features Tech Wash has been specifically designed and optimized for breathable waterproof fabrics. Nikwax is environmentally friendly; it is non-hazardous, Water Based and biodegradable. TX Direct Wash-In has been specifically designed and optimised for breathable waterproof garments; it leaves a flexible water repellent treatment on individual fibers allowing moisture vapor to pass through, maintaining breathability.
