Apple iPad Pro 9.7in preview: Design, features, specs and pre-order

During the Apple March event which took place on 21 March 2016, Apple announced its new 2016 tablet, the iPad Pro 9.7in. This came as a surprise, as we were expecting the release of the iPad Air 3. Here, we will give you our first impressions and later update the article with a detailed review when we get our Mac-hands on one. Updated 1 April 2016 with updated imagery.

Now featuring an all-screen design, the Apple 10.9 inch iPad Air 4th Generation has a Liquid Retina Display with a 2360 x 1640 resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, and 500 nits of brightness. The screen isn't the only thing that got improved.
